At the same time he engaged himself with photography, gradually establishing an international career. His photographs are documentary, exploring the collective memory of modernist architecture. He also works in a conceptual way, kind of like an intellectual game, implementing attractive images and photographic installations. Together with Kobas Laksa, Nicolas Grospierre received the Golden Lion Award at the 11th International Architecture Biennale in Venice in 2008 for the Polish pavilion project “Hotel Polonia”.
